Justin Kniest, also known as JUST, is a Dutch singer-songwriter whose music blends elements of Avant-Pop, Synthwave, and Indie Rock. His sound has been compared to that of <a href="spotify:artist:7Fo8TAyGJr4VmhE68QamMf" data-name="Talk Talk">Talk Talk</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2oyWkw7sq99yqj12hVUHtw" data-name="David Sylvian">David Sylvian</a>. In October 2021, JUST released his debut album, <a href="spotify:album:0WTvLw3cCWo0nfkTBXyHOx" data-name="Deep Cycles">Deep Cycles</a>, which was produced by <a href="spotify:artist:2iWoQ1sXZrTGHb4FcMxz93" data-name="minco eggersman">minco eggersman</a> and features performances by <a href="spotify:artist:0K3OmjqX9X55BCgGoa2WcD" data-name="Lothar Kosse">Lothar Kosse</a> and Stephen Smith. The album received rave reviews upon its release, with Music Maker calling it a &#34;beautiful record&#34; and OOR praising its &#34;comforting emotions wrapped in atmospheric 80&#39;s sounds.&#34; HIFI.nl described it as full of &#34;dynamic and rich textures.&#34;

In addition to his work as a solo artist, JUST also contributed guitar work to the track <a href="spotify:track:3mTCrc59iji29yNuKXJpSa" data-name="Wave Upon Wave">Wave Upon Wave</a> on the album <a href="spotify:album:1zngAcNNliJMx91HWEJf2G" data-name="Solace">Solace</a> by <a href="spotify:artist:1ymZF1ZIsHaqneEoqAi7lz" data-name="Held By Trees">Held By Trees</a>. This album, which was released on April 22nd, 2022, features Talk Talk veterans <a href="spotify:artist:4PJr7ul4bQnwmOVavOrHJB" data-name="Robbie McIntosh">Robbie McIntosh</a> and Martin Ditcham and was well-received by critics at Mojo, Classic Pop, and BBC Radio 6. On April 29th, 2022, Solace entered the UK Indie Charts at #12.
