JW Paris is a 90’s grunge Britpop inspired three-piece featuring Gemma Clarke, Danny Collins and Aaron Forde.
Leading up to JW Paris’ much anticipated hometown appearance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton with Coldplay, JW Paris released new single Geeks & Freaks.
Geeks & Freaks is packed full of atmospheric guitars, driving bassline and hooky riffs that will have you singing it all Summer. Geeks & Freaks draws inspiration from the “Madchester Summer of Love” with The Stone Roses and Happy Monday’s whilst also fusing more guitar based modern influencers like Kasabian, QOTSA, Fontaines DC and Wunderhorse.
Previous singles off the EP, Who Are You, Alive & You’ve Got Me saw some incredible highlights; collectively has 50k+ streams on Spotify and featured with nationwide radio play on Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (6Music), John Kennedy (Radio X), Frankie (Amazing Radio UK & USA) Frank Skinner (Absolutely Radio) and has made it onto the Radio X playlist for x2 weeks straight.
