Kevin Sarathchandra AKA "KVN" is a Rapper, Songwriter & Producer hailing to the world from the suburbs of Colombo. KVN drives his inspiration from the influences of legendary old school artistes such as Rakim, The Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg as well as contemporary names of Russ, Joyner Lucas & G-Eazy. Stepping into the hip-hop industry with his first release featuring his close friend/musician Senith Jay they formed the Hip-Hop/RnB duo Paranoid Note back in 2018.
During his short career so far, KVN has achieved remarkable feats in the Sri Lankan music industry always hustling his way to the top. KVN brings a fresh outlook to the music industry focusing on topics that not many ventures out to address while having his own unique style of music with a perfect balance between the old school vibes and the new school feels. His lyrics revolve around his personal struggles, the hustling and grinding lifestyle he has to endure, while also criticizing the cruel corrupted political nature of the world.
Since childhood KVN has been determined to work his way towards glory. According to him, there are no "Hand-me-downs" in life for him. His work ethic, his lyrics and his attitude when he raps have the potential to resonate within the minds of generations. In 2023, KVN hopes to achieve greater heights while continuing his hustle to the top while always remembering his roots.
