Kadu Rauth Hidalgo, known as KADUM, was born in 1990 in Curitiba, Brazil. From an early age, he was immersed in music, studying piano and saxophone. In 2006, he had his first encounter with Psychedelic Trance at private events (PVTs) in the region. By December 2007, he delved deeper into music production, using "Ableton Live" to develop his electronic music project. Simultaneously, he has performed as a saxophonist in various bands in Curitiba’s nightlife.
Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Popular Music at UNESPAR’s Campus II in Curitiba. The groove in his basslines reflects his Jazz/Funk influences, which he blends into his unique style of Progressive Psychedelic. Since 2010, KADUM has been featured in the lineups of major parties and festivals across Brazil, performing alongside renowned national and international artists. Representing Curitiba and as the sole representative of Kinematic Records in Brazil, he released his first EP in 2014 with the Australian label. This release showcased a more melodic side of psytrance, combining orchestral elements with electronic music.
Since 2019, KADUM has released tracks with notable labels such as Zenon, Alien, Religare, Samaa, Mosaico, Rizoma, Space Baby, Arrábida, ADN, Forestdelic, Tesseract, Gato Pardo, and Tropical Twista. He incorporates organic sounds and instruments like the didgeridoo, flute, saxophone, and hang drum into his productions and Live Acts, presenting them in a distinctive and laid-back style.
