Kaitlyn Velez is a 21 year old singer-songwriter from Long Island, New York.
Kaitlyn’s passion for songwriting started back when she would write birthday jingles for her friends. “I was trying to use my music to help them navigate through life whether it be about boys or other situations that were going on around us...” says Kaitlyn. “I love creating music for myself and my friends.” she adds.

Kaitlyn is currently a student at Berklee College of Music where she is a professional music major.
In later summer 2020, kaitlyn was announced winner of the Reebok “Write Your Legacy” competition. She got to have some cool mentoring sessions with <a href="spotify:artist:6LuN9FCkKOj5PcnpouEgny" data-name="Khalid">Khalid</a>
