Kaiwyn

Kaiwyn (pronounced “Kai” “wern”) is an Australian based singer songwriter who chose to complete his medical degree while remains passionately knotted with his thirst for music. Kaiwyn has always been a creative being and melodically inclined growing up in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After graduating medical school in Australia, Kaiwyn was stationed in Tamworth, NSW (Australian Capital for Country Music) for internship and residency where he participated in the Tamworth Busking Championships, mainly performing covers and his originals. His first single, "Dedicated to You" was released digitally in August 2022, as an ode to Kaiwyn's anamnesis, and "You're My Kind" released in November 2022. The third single, “The Cut After the First” along with B-side “Future Me” was released in May 2023 with “The Cut After the First” catching both commercial and community radio plays and rotations, along with radio interviews to introduce Kaiwyn. Following this, Kaiwyn then released a holiday track, “Christmas with You” in December 2023, scoring his first Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (AMRAP) Chart Entry at #5.

Kaiwyn continues to manage his medical work and producing more tracks in the background, with the duet single “Cupidtised” released July 2024 landed on Editorial Spotify playlists. This is followed by "Off and On" in September 2024 to expand on his growing signature indie pop blend.
