KALA is a genre-blending alternative loud rock artist from the U.S., now based in Japan. Signed to Cloud9 Esports as a Music Creator, he made his debut in January 2025 with Sony Music Labels’ SACRA MUSIC, launching his full-scale activities in Japan with “LOCK IN,” the official theme and broadcast walkout song for Cloud9 Esports’ VALORANT team during the Riot Games VALORANT Champions Tour Americas 2025 season. His breakout hit “KINGSBLOOD” followed soon after as the Opening Theme for the TV anime “The Beginning After the End” (『最強の王様、二度目の人生は何をする？』) - his first anime tie-up and a defining moment in his emergence as a cross-media artist. His most recent digital release, “AEON BREAK,” precedes his first EP, “SEKAI//DIVIDE,” set for release on January 28, 2026, and his inaugural headline tour across Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo in February 2026. KALA unites music, anime, and gaming into a sound that inspires.
