Born and raised in New Jersey, KANJI is a South-Asian artist whose innate talent for crafting emotional melodies has already launched him into the Melodic Bass scene. His singles, "<a href="spotify:track:31FAO2p3KUtLQxoRBxgQr3" data-name="Runaway">Runaway</a>" and "<a href="spotify:album:6Ts0oUQmr2FxYMWfoIxwg4" data-name="Paper Planes">Paper Planes</a>" have been featured in articles by EDMTunes with the first winning 3rd place in the 2023 International Songwriting Competition.

He kicked off 2024 strong - won in <a href="spotify:artist:2jrBiKykLqcIp2S7GLiahy" data-name="CADMIUM">CADMIUM</a>'s remix competition with his remix "<a href="spotify:track:5dsIK4dqytSEulPSE94UUk" data-name="Let Me Go - KANJI Remix">Let Me Go - KANJI Remix</a>" - now part of the official remix album. Coinciding with this milestone, in February, KANJI had his debut performance as direct support for <a href="spotify:artist:7lZauDnRoAC3kmaYae2opv" data-name="Dabin">Dabin</a> in Philadelphia, PA. Following this 2nd performance supporting <a href="spotify:artist:0daugAjUgbJSqdlyYNwIbT" data-name="Vicetone">Vicetone</a> in September.
