Karim Kamar is a contemporary classical pianist and composer from London. He has produced and created music of many different styles for various artists, though his my main focus is on the creation of relaxing New ­Age solo piano music, with stylings similar to: Ryuichi Sakamoto, Ludovico Einaudi and Yann Tiersen.

He has been performing as a solo pianist since 2013 and has built a reputation as an outstanding and unique composer and performer, having played at almost every major music venue in London including: The Jazz Cafe, The Forge, Ronnie Scotts and The Royal Albert Hall.

Karim has also made a name for himself in contemporary circles, performing on Radio 1Xtra’s Grenfell Session, SBTV with Fox and reworking versions of classic Lowkey tracks, as well as running a monthly live music and poetry night, Out Spoken, at The Southbank Centre, London. Through his highly engaged YouTube channel, Karim has found a home for his performances with over 55,000 subscribers and 8 million plays on his videos and counting. He was the face of OnePlus’ Christmas campaign, performing his piece Winter Solstice on a piano made of mobile phones at various locations across Europe.
