Among the elite lyricists of hip-hop comes Kasland, the Texas native with a natural instinct for word play and metaphors. Born September 12, 1990 in Dallas, Texas, Kasland began his pursuit for a career in music in his teenage years after forming a passion for the art of telling a story through hip-hop.

Kasland made his debut in 2010 with the release of his first single “Taste My Yums” as featured on a mixtape distributed by YUMS Shoes, a local clothing line and sponsor to artists such as Kasland, Soulja Boy, Dorrough Music, and more.

In 2011, Kasland released his first project, The Equilibrium EP, which would create the foundation for his following 2013 release, Devil’s Delight, featuring guest appearances by Jarren Benton, Cryptic Wisdom, and more.

A year later, Kasland moved to Los Angeles, California where he would network and build connections with other artists, leading to his debut in the film industry with a guest appearance in the feature film, Straight Outta Compton.

Kasland fell silent for over half a decade before returning in 2020 with his sophomore album, No More Sick Days. The album debuted at #115 on the hip-hop charts and features guest appearances from Riff Raff, Seejai, and more.
