Katie Day is an LA-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. While best known for her trilogy of songs chronicling the 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series win, the scope of her writing and production reaches far beyond Wrigley’s brick and ivy.
Her songs, which range from ethereal acoustic ballads to upbeat synth pop jams, have been featured on MTV, ESPN, Daytrotter, Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, WGN, and more.
When she isn’t working on her own music, Day spends her time composing and producing tracks in a multitude of genres for ads, trailers, film, and tv. She co-founded the production house Shortcake Music which creates custom originals and licenses pre-existing music. She’s composed for global brands including Dove, Netflix, HP, and NOS among others.
Outside of music, Day spends her time pondering mortality, watching Bravo, and doting on her cats, Darryl and Strawberry.
