Kayleigh Thorn is a singer-songwriter based in Leeds. With influences ranging from Amy Macdonald, Lucy Spraggan, Orla Gartland and Olivia Dean, she has crafted a unique indie folk pop sound that captivates listeners with her honest, raw, and autobiographical lyrics.
Originally from Slough, Kayleigh moved to Leeds in 2020 to pursue dreams of going to drama school. It was there that she fell in love with being a storyteller and was also able to foster her musicianship skills, allowing her to explore her own feelings and experiences in a new light.
Kayleigh released her debut EP, ‘A New Start’ in 2024, a set of songs written in her first year of studies, delving into the struggles of understanding who you are and the intimidating process of finding your place in a world where everybody seems to always be one step ahead.
