Keely is a proud Kabi Kabi, Gooreng Gooreng and South Sea Islander multidisciplinary artist and researcher drawing power from her culture, inspiration from Country and soul from love, loss and transformation.

Warm and honeyed, Keely's vocal stylings transcend through bold technical delivery and sophisticated musicality, weaving R&B and neo-soul with modern jazz. Sweet melodies and witty wordplay hold bravery and vulnerability. Her music explores love and desire alongside colonial and patriarchal violence, trauma, survival and sovereignty.

Storytelling spills beyond Song. Her practice moves between performance, immersive design and expanded cinema. Grounded in cultural strength, her work traces relational understandings of story, Song, and sensuality —asking what can be carried in our bodies, inherited through generations, transformed through creativity and returned through practice.

A hopeless romantic, dreamer and self-described Scorpio Goddess, Keely is fascinated by life's big questions. Her creative world moves freely between the deeply personal and the ancestral, the sensual and the political, the earthly and the cosmic.

Currently undertaking an auto-ethnographic PhD at Queensland University of Technology, Keely expands a body of work in which story, Song and sensuality become vehicles for travelling from the innermost reaches of self to the outermost reaches of the universe.
