Country-folk Canadian artist Keirsten Starshine, grew up in Keswick, ON. The 31 y/o grew up with a big musical influence from her family. After learning that she could sing, she was introduced to the piano. The piano is where her very first songwriting experiences began. At 13 her parents bought her first very own acoustic guitar. Her father enrolled her in lessons at Connor's Music. Keirsten has a bold outlook on life, always feeling like she was meant for something bigger than the 9 - 5 job. Growing up with anxiety, depression, and at times in her life being an addict, she saw a need to help other people understand. Keirsten has written over 300 original pieces of music. She has been taught by professionals for voice and guitar, sang in choirs, and performed in showcases. She received the "Most Promising Vocalist" award in high school. In 2019 she competed in the QP Factor, raising money for the Sandgate Woman's Shelter for abused women and children in York Region, ON. In 2015 she started setting up her own home recording studio, followed by learning how to produce her own craft in 2017. She has now hired Ben Travis of Two Cats Music, based out of Nashville TN, to produce all her music. On March 4th she released the single, "Bury this Love", an emotional deep ballad. On April 8th, she released a country-folk song, "Nashville Sunrise". July 15th, the new single The Way, is OUT NOW!
