Afro-urban Singer and Record Producer KEKAY, identifies with the new generation of creatives revolutionizing the Nigerian music climate. KEKAY’s artistry is laid against a strong cross-cultural fabric, resulting from his early years in Nigeria and eventual move to Toronto, Canada for college .
His style draws from the global template of contemporary R&B, often fused with Afrobeat, hip-hop, reggae and soul variants. Having built a solid North American following, he moved back to Lagos in 2016 to better connect with his African base and sound.

KEKAY maintains an exquisite format across his creative process. His stimulating lyrics and dynamic vocals communicate his pleasure-driven themes, making for a timeless catalogue. Past releases like High, Invite Only and his Lady in a Sundress freestyle remain relevant in today's toughly-evolving industry.  His soundscape finds its roots in the works of Joe, T-pain, Bob Marley, Chris Brown, Jasmin Sullivan, 2face, Wizkid, with a heavy dose of Snoh Aalegra, Kehlani and sub-stream discoveries in recent times.

While in Winnipeg studying, he began taking music business courses to expand his scope from being merely an artist and producer to a well-rounded industry creative, executive and stakeholder. He is the president and forerunning act of Estlon Music; an independent label he set up with his friends in 2012.
