Since Ken Oak and Ed Gorski played their last set together as Oak & Gorski at Downtown Disney in 2018, Ken has been busy recording and playing cello live for a number of Los Angeles based artists. Still, the itch to compose never really went away and he has been writing short cinematic pieces on the piano in his spare time.
In late 2019, Ken played a show with Young Creatures, a band fronted by singer-songwriter Mike Post. Ken had met Mike when he was engineering for veteran indie producer Raymond Richards (Local Natives, The Wild Reeds). In lieu of a performance fee, Mike agreed to give Ken two hours in his studio, and so this project was born...
