Following his 2024 debut single “Love in Stereo”—a polished neo-pop disco track that hinted
at his versatility—this new release marks a pivotal moment in Kenaga’s creative evolution. Co-
written with producer and longtime collaborator Rimaldi, the EP draws deeply from Kenaga’s
personal journey: his youth in Europe, shaped by nights in underground music clubs and
summers at drum and bass festivals, and a transformative stint in London during the 2012
Olympics.
After relocating to Indonesia in 2015, Kenaga immersed himself in theater and film, appearing
in a number of screen projects while learning the language and culture. But it was the solitude
of the pandemic that reawakened his connection to music, setting the foundation for this
highly personal debut.
“This EP represents a return to myself,” says Kenaga. “Each track is tied to a memory, a city, or
a sound that made me who I am.”
