Kendall Jane Meade is a solo artist and founder of the band Mascott. She has released two EPs and three full-length albums under the moniker Mascott. Jon Pareles of The New York Times describes her best: "If Aimee Mann had fended off cynicism, she might sound like Kendall Meade, the songwriter and singer of Mascott...turn(ing) folk-rock into stately pop, wrapping vulnerability and longing in quietly radiant arrangements."
Meade is also an accomplished singer and musician who has contributed to albums or played/sang live with Sparklehorse, Helium, The Spinanes, Lloyd Cole, Gramercy Arms, Stars, and many more. She is also a member of folk-rock duo Anders and Kendall. Their first album, Wild Chorus, was released in 2013 on Nine Mile Records.
The first Kendall Jane Meade album, SPACE, will be released on Mother West in Feb 2025.
