Stage presence, high energy and endless Rock&Roll is what Kerk
Straat is all about.
The four members of this Afrikaans Rock band originating in Potchefstroom, came
together with a dream of giving people something original and unique.
Francois Viviers (Frontman) and Christo Franken (Bass Player) bonded over their
mutual love for Rock&Roll the two decided to begin their own Afrikaans Rock Band.
Caleb Bediako (Drummer) was next to join after already being in multiple successful
bands who then introduced Jason Coetzee (Lead Guitarist) to the band.
After starting in September 2024 the band has already written an album’s worth of
original Afrikaans Rock songs. The band
firmly believes in building exposure though focus of having a consistent social media
presence and getting on stage as much as they possibly can.
