Kerry Andrew is a composer, singer and author with a PhD in Composition, and is the winner of four British Composer Awards. Kerry has written pieces to defend the NHS, for the BBC Proms, for 25 community groups to perform simultaneously in Landmark Trust sites across the UK, and created a concept drawing/song album with kids for Art on the Underground. Other works include a folk-inspired community opera for Wigmore Hall and a 'wild-swimming chamber opera', Dart's Love, and a choral piece premiered in Sydney Opera House. High-profile roles include Chair of the Judges for BBC Young Musician 2018.

Kerry also performs with award-winning trio Juice Vocal Ensemble, as alt-folk artist You Are Wolf, and with jazz/classical/rock quintet DOLLYman; a 'wren-song' instigated The Lost Words: Spell Songs, a collaboration with seven other folk musicians including Julie Fowlis, Seckou Keita and Karine Polwart.

Kerry is the author of two novels published by Jonathan Cape, and was shortlisted in the BBC National Short Story Award 2018.
