Hailing from Mpumalanga, South Africa, Kgzoo is fast emerging as one of electronic music’s most exciting voices. Inspired by icons like Caiiro and Black Coffee, his journey began in the small town of Manyeveni, where passion and rhythm first collided.
Since his debut EP, Afurika Collection (2020), Kgzoo has steadily captured attention with standout tracks like Music Is Power and The Beginnings. His collaborations with Gumz Music and Calamar Records in 2022 highlighted his versatility and innovative sound.
In 2023, he dropped the Isginci EP featuring Bukeka, followed by the Baobab Stargate EP with Classic Desire under Aluku Rebels Records, cementing his reputation for blending traditional African rhythms with contemporary electronic beats. His 2024 remix of Dreams by Guri and Eider marked his first move toward the European market.
Kgzoo’s global reach continues to expand, with upcoming performances including his Madrid debut and a tour across Asia in October.
