The name KHALASIRNA itself comes from the combination of the word 'Kala' which means "time / moment / period" and the word 'Sirna' which has an adjective meaning "lost (disappeared)". However, one of the personnel said that Khalasirna could also be matched with the philosophical Sunda Buhun story about the journey of 7 Ronggeng Batara Kala who was given the task of being a human temptress (Ronggeng 7 Kala Sirna). Ronggeng 7 Kala Sirna is personified as a figure of Ronggeng or a beautiful female dancer who is ready to tempt human faith to slip away from its ethical, moral, and spiritual values.
