Active on the french underground House scene since 2009, Kicks was amongst the firsts to believe in the 90's sound come back. Spotted by the parisian crew Cracki, he was invited to mix US and UK Garage House and to release his first tracks in 2013 on the Vahâna EP.
A bit later, Kicks opened himself to a more modern and atmospheric sound, which led him to produce tracks like Pipeline on Rutilance and Turn Of The Light on Copie Blanche records.
In 2020, Kicks finally released his first full EP called Space Opera on Rutilance which has been highly appreciated by the House scene around the world and showed his talent for synths programming and samples picking. Later in 2020, he collaborated with Ordinaire records for a split EP on which he has 2 tracks, In The Shell and Keep On, that has been played by Chris Stussy, Djoko, Brawther, Cinthie...
After the release of the track What I See in 2001, Kicks worked on his second full EP for Joule records helmed by Janeret. This time he moved towards a deeper and more dreamy sound while moving a bit away from 4x4 rhythms.
