Webster’s dictionary defines Kid Cadaver as the band you accidentally found when you were looking for Kid Cudi. Now the musical moniker of Raymond Venta III, Kid Cadaver was once a 3-piece band and buzzy mainstay of the seemingly no-longer existent LA indie-rock scene. An LA-native, Venta spent 3 years living in a Chevy Express van before attempting to flee the city and his music career via a short-lived move to Salt Lake City. Upon ultimately returning to LA, music found Venta yet again as he was unable to decline offers to play bass for other artists and work with new collaborators. Kid Cadaver returns in 2023 with new single “Another Sundae High,” a forthcoming album produced by Sam Beresford (Winnetka Bowling League), and a support slot for Lostboycrow across North America.
