Mixing queer history, performance art, a theatrical live show, and a wicked sense of humor in their music, Toronto's electro-queercore group Kids on TV feature bassist/vocalist John Caffery, drummer/percussionist/vocalist Minus Smile, guitarist Wolf, and vocalist/video artist Roxanne Luchak. The group's frequent collaborators include Maggie MacDonald, also of <a href="spotify:artist:6qJSWLT4bvL49hEyXxc3G9">the Hidden Cameras</a> and Republic of Safety. "36 Pills," which appeared on the 2004 compilation Toronto Is Great, was one of the first tracks Kids on TV recorded; the following year, their remix of <a href="spotify:artist:58S7LJqgdaun5L6zNKmui8">Lesbians on Ecstacy</a>'s "Bitchsy" was included on the Giggles in the Dark collection. In 2006, their witty single "Breakdance Hunx" was included on the Chicks on Speed set Girl Monster and on a vinyl-only EP of its own. In spring 2007, their full-length debut, Mixing Business with Pleasure, arrived. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
