Kill The Silence is a dynamic post-hardcore band formed in 2012 by founding members Jason Walsh and Sam Rickerby while studying at Leeds College of Music. Over the years, the band has built a reputation for delivering raw energy, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating live performances.
In 2015, they introduced themselves to the scene with their self-titled demo, laying the groundwork for their signature blend of heavy riffs and emotive melodies. Their sound matured with the release of their debut EP, Bloodlines, in 2019—a record that solidified their place in the UK post-hardcore scene.
The band expanded its lineup when Jason and Sam connected with Ian Souch, John David Wallis, and Dan Ridding during their time at Huddersfield University. Together, the five members have honed their chemistry, creating a powerful and cohesive musical force.
Kill The Silence has shared stages with iconic names such as Mallory Knox, We Came as Romans, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, earning respect for their electrifying performances and ability to captivate diverse audiences.
Fans won't have to wait much longer for new music—Kill The Silence has recently been in the studio working on the highly anticipated follow-up to Bloodlines. With the release just around the corner, the band is ready to take their sound to the next level and continue leaving their mark on the post-hardcore landscape.
