Even though Kilowatthours are based out of Louisville, KY, the line-up is spread from Kansas City to Tennessee to New York City. The line-up of Ryan Compton (guitar), Dan Benningfield (piano), Ben Lord (drums), and Chris Renn (guitar/ vocals) would result in a driving but melodic sentiment of indie, comparable to fellow Kentuckians Elliott.
