New York-based singer/songwriter Kim Sozzi became involved in music at a very young age mostly influenced by her own family. Granddaughter of an opera singer an a Latin percussionist who played along with Tito Puente, Sozzi spent precious time composing songs based on her personal experiences. The promising artist had the opportunity to sign her first record deal at the age of 20 with Columbia Records. Her debut song "Letting Go" was featured on the popular TV show Dawson's Creek, followed by "Till I Cry You Out of Me" in the motion picture Teaching Mrs. Tingle.

In 1999, Sozzi joined the Lilith Fair tour. In addition, her singing skills and growing popularity allowed the young artist to sign a contract with the the Berman Brothers' label (BAB Music) to release her first album, featuring "Feelin' Me," "We Get Together," and remixes by Hex Hector. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
