Edmée is a resilient Belgian singer-songwriter making her long-awaited return to the music scene. Known for her captivating voice and emotional performances, she reintroduced herself in 2024 with a countrypop version of ‘Listen to Your Heart’, the 2005 global hit she recorded with DHT. It marked both a farewell to the past and a fresh start. No more borrowed words, no more compromises. Just her own words, her own voice, and a message born from falling, rising and daring to dream again.

Two decades ago, Edmée broke through with multiple chart-topping hits. A breast cancer diagnosis in 2016, heartbreak and legal battles led her to step away from the spotlight and question her future in music. Yet in that quiet space, songwriting became her lifeline. What began as survival turned into a creative rebirth.

In March 2025 came her first fully self-written single: 'What Good Girls Do', a bold anthem about self-love and breaking free from people-pleasing. “I sing this for the woman I used to be and for anyone still finding their voice,” she says.

Her follow-up single 'L.O.V.E.', is brighter and poppier, yet just as personal and an ode to unexpected love. With 80s-inspired synths and a hint of modern country, it invites listeners to turn up the volume and feel light again.

Each song tells part of Edmée's story of healing, growth, and starting over. This isn’t just a comeback. It’s her triumph. A reminder that even after life’s hardest chapters, it’s never too late to begin again.
