King Ink is a four-piece alt-rock band based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Formed around the songwriting of JD Waldvogel, the band officially solidified in late 2024 with a permanent lineup including Sean DeWard (drums), Becca Coberly (guitar/bass), and Evan Coberly (guitar/bass/saxophone). Known for their bright sound that blends heartland rock influences with a modern alternative edge, King Ink crafts songs that are both introspective and anthemic, exploring themes of transformation, self-reflection, and unapologetically pure joy.
