King Lekan

Born and raised in Nigeria, King Lekan moved from Nigeria to New York City to further his education and music career as a music producer and pianist. King Lekan was one of the founders of an alternative Hip-Hop trio music group who produced an album that gained national recognition that resulted in the group opening for Pharrell Williams.

In the Afrobeats Music industry, King Lekan is the most sought after Music Director/Keyboardist in the African diaspora, via his band, Kingsmen. King Lekan has had the opportunity to perform alongside superstar artists such as; Wizkid (MSG, Apple Music Live, Various Festivals, etc.), Ayra Starr (North American Tour), Fireboy DML (North American Tour & various shows), Mr. Eazi on the James Corden Show, Coachella and various tours within the United States, Europe & South Africa, Davido for his “30 Billion” Tour, Olamide, Adekunle Gold in NYC, Stonebwoy at various shows including the Barclays Center, American Rapper; Wale, Singer: Akon and many more. In addition, King Lekan has also performed alongside African legendary artist & humanitarian, Angelique Kidjo. In the gospel world, King Lekan has shared the stage with gospel legends such as Ron Kenoly, Alvin Slaughter, Don Moen, Sinach, Sonnie Badu, Uche and many more.
