Muritala Kafaru AKA King Richee is an Afrobeat/Afro pop artist singer/vocalist and songwriter. He incorporated traditional African elements with global pop for an infectious sound . His 2020 single "Bami Jo" produced by Raynstorm proved to be one of his top track which got so much attention in states such as North Carolina, Atlanta and other states.
King Richee was born Muritala Olamilekan Kafaru in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1994. His love and interest in music began in his late teens while rapping with friends on the streets. He relocated to the United States at the age of 18 and began pursing his music career full time. His first debut singles were "Kilobade", a song collaboration, featuring a close friend Chief Willz and "Won Le Ba" released in 2019.
His last project of 2022 was “25/25" a song which was dedicated to his brother who was murdered March of 2021. King Richee releases his first song of 2023 titled “Je Je Li” the track is out now
available on all platforms.
