Kingstone Bus Stop

Swedish winters are cold and dark, very dark. On the darkest night of 2012 eight men were waiting for the bus in Gothenburg city. By chance they started talking and found themselves sharing a common love for reggae, ska, rocksteady and soul music. As a way to mentally teleport themselves away from their frost bitten surroundings, they decided to form a band and mix all of their different influences into one spicy musical cocktail. They named the band after the bus stop where they first met (Kungssten) and set out on a crusade to rescue northern souls in need of good vibes and x-amount of niceness. Today Kingstone Bus Stop is a band famous for their great live shows and contagious positive energy. After years of touring they finally found the time to go into the studio and record their debut. Now they can invite the whole world to get on the bus and crank it up!
The band members are: King Honey Bele, Genius, Clitt Eastwood, Brown-I, The Scientist, Sir Fockalot, Bassman Elfman and Iron man
The members come from Sweden, London, Jamaica and Barbados and although they share a background of reggae, ska and rocksteady, they have also played in prominent Swedish funk-, jazz- and indie bands.
