Born in 1967, Kithsiri Jayasekara is a versatile Singer/Reciter/Musician. In his music career spanning more than two decades, Kithsiri has made an everlasting mark as a vocalist following the popularity of most of his songs.Having started his career in the 90’s, Kithsiri’s unique and soothing voice made an instant impact among music lovers who embraced his songs passionately. He has a gifted voice to sing South Asian songs and has performed all around the world at many international events and has judged many national and international music competitions. Kithsiri made his initial guest appearance as a solo singer on several television and radio shows in Sri Lanka beginning with his song “Ginimalak” subsequently with hits such as “Cinderella”, “Meepani Rahasak”, “Ameesha”, and “Ketima Keti Kathawak” building him a large fan base in the country.
