KMD

Growing up in a small town in Louisiana, KMD fell in love with music, specifically Hip Hop. KMD’s life became consumed with this genres era at an early age and that’s when he vowed to become something bigger than expectations set by those who knew him. At the age of 10, KMD began to freestyle with his friends and show his family his artistic ability. Once encouraged by his older sister to start writing songs at the age of 14, that’s exactly what he did. KMD went through many hardships as a teenager dealing with the death of his father and other friends and family members. While experiencing an immense amount of pain, KMD began barreling down a path of alcohol addiction and drug use leaving him sleeping on friends couches with no money, no job, and no motivation. This is what he considers to be his “rock bottom” and also his turning point. KMD met his wife and established a family at the age of 20. It wasn’t until the age of 24 when he would again dive into his passion and love for Hip Hop. KMD worked rigorously to find his sound and tell his story to build a fan base who can relate to his trials which he faced and overcame. The young rapper, now 25 , is a rising Hip Hop/Rap artist working with various engineers, videographers, and established artist to create his foot print in the industry. KMD has found his purpose with music and refuses to not take advantage of what he feels God has blessed him with.
