Felippe Camargo aka Koala started to study music theory and play the drums in the late 90s, at the Villa Lobos Conservatory, in São Paulo. Since then, he never stopped dealing with music. After playing in a Hardcore/Punk band for around seven years, he went into a DJ career in 2006 with influences of Deep House, Chill Out, Downtempo, Acid Jazz, Hip-Hop, Dub Techno, Detroit House and more.
During his experience working as DJ, Felippe had the opportunity to play in some iconic nightclubs of São Paulo: D-Edge, Vegas, Lab Club, Mono Club, Squat Bar, Hot Hot, 3P4, Idch, Blue Velvet, Tostex, Banana's Beach Club and many others.
In 2010, he created the project Koala with the idea to produce House Music grooves sustained by deep melodies and catchy basslines. Today his tracks can be found in many record labels around the world: M-Sol DEEP, Limitation Music, Elektrik Dreams Music, Ready Mix Records, Deep Clicks, Be Adult Music, Spring Tube, Batavia Records, Dubhe Recordings, Votan Records, Hush Deep, Sound Vessel Records, Deep Site, Galvanic and more.
