Kohtukuolema is a one-man-band, which conjures the darkness up with its unique style of Nordic Misanthropic poetry.
Cold Nineties vibe riffing mixed with dsbm, that is topped with rocky melancholic melodies.
A true monument of self-inflicted wounds.
The name means “Stillbirth”, and word for word “womb death”.
Only member is Ruttoenkeli (from 2020 upwards)
Debut album released in 2017 and a 7” in 2021; Sophomore album “Liekkiö” 2023.
All lyrics in Finnish and in a poetical form. Themes revolve around Death and Melancholy;
with a somber and misanthropic philosophy as grounding principle.
