KOKA

KOKA is the solo project of Albanian born and Berlin based artist Dora Koka.
Her Music is a means and a result of transcending cultures and careers, discrimination and patriarchy, fear and existentialism, to reach a creative freedom and authentic self-expression.

Crafting songs with her remarkable vocals and her own sophisticated taste of sounds, mostly 90's inspired, became an epiphany, an escape and a vessel to understand herself and the world better. It came through her as a hurricane after surrendering into meditation. KOKA left an architect's career behind in 2019 and dedicated herself fully to her musical expression.

Her debut record, Eudaimonia, released September 16th in 2022, marks her unique and sophisticated sound in the Alternative/Dark Pop world. It was produced in partnership with Riverside Studios Berlin, sponsored by Initiative Musik GmbH in Germany,
Her New EP - Love Bluff - was created together with Italian-German artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Matteo Capreoli and stands for a clear statement of bold artistic transformation that leaves you wondering “wait, what’s next?”.
