Komodor is raw, high-energy rock straight from the extreme west of Brittany, more precisely from Douarnenez. The band isn’t here to dust off the old sound, but while drawing inspiration from classic codes, they bring a breath of modernity to their universe: gritty guitars, harmoniously intertwined vocals, and an ingrained groove. Their organic, wild style pulls no punches.
After the release of their debut album Nasty Habits in December 2021, which was praised by critics in outlets such as Rolling Stone, Rock & Folk, Libération, Society, and Rock Hard Germany, Komodor spent two years touring, pouring their energy into live performances and building a solid reputation. In parallel, they explored new musical horizons with their side project Komodrag and the Mounodor, leading them on a four-year tour across France.
