Music, mangas and minerals: Producer, graphic artist and rock-scientist Fabian Dellefant found his new creative home under the name of KOMOREBI.
After a long history of collaborative projects (e.g. composing and producing for trip-hop project SampleMinded, producing and writing a concept album with german Rapper Keno, and working with ominous german-chinese artist ensemble C.O.W. 牛), KOMOREBI can now focus on his very own creative freedom. While other producers tend to follow one particular sound, KOMOREBI is playing nu-metal riffs on one day, just to produce a super chill lofi-beat on the day after.
KOMOREBIs music is always based on a clear structure, just like the crystals and minerals Fabian is researching in his day job. The kicks and snares are hitting hard and tight, and the arrangements are focused and straight. Jet there is also always both a playful and colorful element to his sound, just like in a sparkly crystal, where light is broken into thousand colors.
While listening to KOMOREBI, you can feel the creative and boundless energy of an interdisciplinary artist creating ideas on the fly. But you can also hear a scientist carefully collecting and arranging all those ideas.
