KoVu

Baron Edward Despenza Jr. better known as “KoVu” first came onto the music scene in 2013 as a way to rap with friends and record tracks in home studios. The Chicago suburb native has spent the past few years building his sound with the release of his mixtape Phase 7 in 2015 which brought him to the spotlight. KoVu has since dropped multiple singles as well as two Eps Contrast in 2016 and Theodore in 2017. Both projects explore his success and acceptance into the industry with a collective of upbeat party tracks to slow, heartfelt songs. Throughout his journey, he has collaborated with a few of his associates including Gianni Taylor, Sammy Pharoah, & More. KoVu has shared the stage with the likes of many well-known artists, such as Tory Lanez, Vic Mensa, Marc E. Bassy & Yonas just to name a few. He has also opened for Waka Flocka on his Midwest dates finishing with a sold-out hometown show at Millikin University in Decatur Illinois. Since Then KoVu has released his first album “PLAYBOI” which did well over 12 thousand streams & then soon after dropped “Love,Teddy” which did over 80 thousand streams
