Music has run through Kristin Sorani’s life like the stream that meanders through her wooded property in Oregon, ebbing and flowing as the seasons change.
Blessed with a euphonious soprano voice and stunning range that moves between ethereal and powerful, Kristin has performed in numerous venues, including as a soloist in Mozart’s Exultate Jubilate and Bach’s Magnificat, an opening solo performer for the Park City Divas, a participant in the prestigious Haydn Festival in Austria, a cast member in musical theater productions and a background vocalist for Carly Simon in a demo for Disney.
Her first album, Amazing Love, a collection of praise and worship songs, was recorded in 2002. A few years later, she wrote the music and lyrics for two original pieces. Today, “Show Me the Way” and “He Calls Me Out” (October 2023), have come bubbling back to life in newly recorded releases.
Kristin taps into the power of music to heal as it evokes emotions—the highs and the lows. “I truly believe that a tear shed is a layer released, a new level of awareness. So I invite my listeners to share some healing tears as they listen to my music.”
Kristin is the author of a children’s book about self-acceptance and love, “I Wish I Were an Animal,” and is working on a second book that inspires and empowers kids to embrace a healthy lifestyle. She also works as a certified life coach, helping others reach their full potential through healthy living and healthy thinking. www.kristinsorani.com
