It's 2012 when “The Freaks” hit the dancefloor. It's a new EP on SpinTwist, and its impact is just a bit too heavy to be the product of a newcomer. Who is this new name, who is Kronfeld? As turns out, it's actually a pioneer producer of the Progressive Trance genre, known in the thriving scene of Hamburg of the early 2000's as Der Eins Punkt. After retiring from the music business, he's back – back with a bang, that is. In no time Kronfeld is among the protagonists of the Progressive Trance scene again, not only in the still buzzing hotspot Hamburg, but all around the world. Shifting between deep atmospheres and cheerful catchiness, his productions are up-to-date as it can be and make him an always welcome guest in the studios of influential producers.
