As making music becomes easier than ever and aspiring musicians come and go, Kshanam's increasingly hard to find authentic and original sound is here to stay. The up and coming sextet is based out of Chennai and dabbles in classic rock, alt pop, carnatic fusion and much more in between. Founded by vocalist and guitarist Sriram in 2021, the band initially consisted of just him and keyboardist Aaditya, till the addition of drummer/percussionist Arun and bassist Saroop established its presence. Once lead guitarist Anirudh and violinist Srinikethan joined, Kshanam had found their sound and set out letting the world hear it. The band draws a lot of inspiration from classic rock bands like <a href="spotify:artist:3WrFJ7ztbogyGnTHbHJFl2" data-name="The Beatles">The Beatles</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0k17h0D3J5VfsdmQ1iZtE9" data-name="Pink Floyd">Pink Floyd</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1dfeR4HaWDbWqFHLkxsg1d" data-name="Queen">Queen</a>. It hopes to put its hometown on the map of international music.
