Named their genre as Primal-core, award-winner KUNTARI is constantly experimented with primitive voices producing animal mating calls with his Trumpet mixed with a tons variation of Indonesian tribal rhythms. The music produced percussive primal sound along with dark ambients, a firm unit and solid of two individuals with Intense dynamic of heavy ancient beats. Their live performances create an organic raw sonical untamed with feral approach.
KUNTARI continually toured around Europe and Asia, in the past 2 years they have completed performances in 20 Countries and 55 cities around the Continents. KUNTARI has performed at notable festivals such as Keroxen Festival, CTM Festival and Unsound Festival. KUNTARI album in 2021 has chosen as Best Album of the Year by Jakarta Post and 2nd Best Album of the Year by Vice in 2022.
KUNTARI has been collaborated with many mix-genre musicians such as Author & Punisher, Keiji Haino, Rully Shabara and Arthur Hnatek.
