Kyntra have performed at numerous festivals including Celtic Connections, Henley Festival and How The Light Gets In. They've headlined in Germany and toured the UK. They’ve also opened for numerous familiar folk names, including Talisk, Project Smok, and The East Pointers.

Recorded in May 2024 at the legendary Castlesound Studios, Pencaitland, Scotland, "As It Is Now, As It Was Then" is the debut album from Kyntra. After five years of performing together, the aim in the studio was to capture the energy and atmosphere of their celebrated live performances - a sound that strives to be both timeless and original.

"As It Is Now As It Was Then" is a timeless journey through ancient landscapes. In melodies influenced by both the coastlines and mountains of the UK, introspective whispers grow slowly into tribal dances and euphoric melodies which seem to whirl around epic ancient mountain tops. The sound is cinematic and expansive with vibrant traditional roots.
