manifesto-like track La Kfet, a musical inventory of their values reminiscent of Prévert. And
here it is again, that familiar old scarlet coffee pot, reigning for six albums in the middle of
the table, a brazier to warm hearts, a totem conjured with a snap of the fingers. At the start,
in the early 2000s, we were playing in the streets of Barcelona. Just as we were about to
enter a more serious scene, we randomly picked the name La Cafetera Roja, it was literally
the object right in front of us in the bar where we were sitting. It was perfect. Politically, the
color suited us perfectly. And this symbol still evokes conviviality, shared moments, energy,
human warmth...”
