Haitian-Canadian singer-songwriter based out of Paris (France). Mélissa Laveaux got her first break with her cover of Elliot Smith's "Needle in the Hay" back in 2008. Blending afro-caribbean rhythms and indie folk ballads to her fluid percussive fingerpicking electric guitar, she dabbles in different genres always finding her comfort zone as she consistently lays down gritty ethereal vocals.

Upcoming album “at my softest, i am most dangerous” will have presenting her most autobiographical work to date - a song for each time she met death, a spirit, or a glimpse into the afterlife… out March 2026
