I'm an artist from Central Kentucky whose music is greatly inspired by small town living. I've always been drawn to warm tones, haunting melodies, and balancing sound with space. My music lends itself to the ambient and cinematic, finding soul through uniquely stylized piano and vocal elements. I hope you find some peace and inspiration through my songs. Laban's debut album "A Place By The Mountain" released in November 2021, with the title track receiving a PMA Mark Award nomination for Ambient Track of the Year. A 5-song EP followed in June 2022 titled "Love Carries", with the track "Going That Way" topping his streaming catalouge. Laban released his most recent full-length album, "Loosely for the Soul", in September 2024.
