LaBass

Andres Zea A.K.A "LaBass" was born on April 27, 1997, in Caracas, Venezuela.

From a young age, he showed passion for music and production, inspired by artists like Black Coffee, Themba, Shimza, Caiiro, and Sparrow & Barbossa.

LaBass found a deep connection with Afro House and tribal rhythms, which shaped his musical identity.

He began his career performing at events in Lechería, Venezuela. As his recognition grew, so did his influence in the national electronic scene.

Over the past seven years, LaBass has shared stages with both national and international DJs: Abril Love, Andreatens, Carrol, Christofer Laroye, Hanie, Jorge Favela (Spain), Larousse, Jean Perez, Sacchi, Sparrow & Barbossa (Spain), Victor Porfidio, Young Papi, Zamoras, and more.

In 2021, he was nominated for the Pepsi Music Awards (Venezuela) in "Best Electronic House/Techno Track" for "Music is My Way" with Alex Aguiar, against Manybeat.

He has played at top festivals like Pre Sunset Roll and Sunset Roll 2022, and recorded exclusive sets for international labels and Ibiza-based radio shows: MusicInTheAir by VillaHangar Records (UK), Ibiza Sonica, Ibiza Stardust Radio, Maluku Records (SE), and Boom Room Radio (AMS).

His music has released on labels like Bosom Records (PT), Arakawan (US), and POW POW MUSIC (SA).

Guided by the roots of Afro House, LaBass creates immersive narratives in every set. His way of reading crowds guarantees a powerful and unforgettable musical journey.
